Basketball 🏀

Basketball, to me, is basically therapy — except cheaper, sweatier, and occasionally someone elbows you in the face. Every shot is a tiny gamble, every dribble a negotiation with gravity, and I am absolutely here for all of it.

I’ve been playing with the same group of guys for years now, and somehow we’ve managed to win the Tongji University School of Transportation Engineering basketball tournament four 5 times in a row. Yes, five. I’m not saying we’re unstoppable, but the data strongly suggests it. As people graduate and scatter across the country, what stays is the muscle memory, the inside jokes, and the very specific kind of bond that only forms when you’ve collectively suffered through overtime together.

Frisbee 🥏

I picked up frisbee somewhat accidentally. There’s something genuinely magical about watching a disc hang in the air — it defies physics just long enough to make you feel like an athlete, before it inevitably lands three meters from where you intended.

Our team showed up to the first Jilin University Ultimate Frisbee League with questionable experience and suspiciously high confidence. We lost early, got sent to the losers’ bracket, and then — through sheer stubbornness — clawed our way all the way back to the finals. We beat the Materials Science College to take the title. Nobody saw it coming, including us.

Meme Collector 🐸

I am a dedicated, passionate, and arguably over-committed collector of internet memes. While others spend their free time on productive hobbies, I have chosen a higher calling — curating a personal archive of the finest, dumbest, and most inexplicably funny images the internet has to offer. I firmly believe that a well-timed meme is worth a thousand words — and occasionally, a well-timed meme has saved a group chat from total collapse. You’re welcome.
